consultancy
We recommend this type of flight, rather for young children or people with very great apprehension. In fact, this paragliding jump lasts approximately 5 to 10 minutes. As a result, the landing phase comes when the person begins to feel good in the air. For motivated people who want to make the most of this experience, we recommend at least the panoramic flight.

Photo & video report
Share your flight!
Air La Plagne immortalizes your tandem paragliding jump. The “big” moments are only “big”, if they are shared! With the photo/video report, of your Paragliding baptism, you can share your unique experience with family and friends. The report contains about 30 to 100 photos and one or more videos. The number varies according to the type of tandem paragliding that you have chosen. The longer the flight, the greater the number of photos and videos.
The photos and videos will be transferred to your phone at the end of your flight for immediate enjoyment and sharing with friends.
Piloting experience
Air La Plagne Parapente entrusts you with the controls!
Deepen the experience of paragliding, with the innovative “Air La Plagne Pro Expé” system. We are talking here about advanced paragliding!
— First, as is traditional, the instructor explains the basics of paragliding piloting and has you pilot with a double command. So in total safety!
— Then in a second step, thanks to an innovative device designed by AIR La Plagne (AIR la Plagne Pro Expé), you will be able to perform incredible curves yourself, where you will feel the beginnings of aerobatics!
So your tandem paragliding experience does not only end with an extraordinary ride and a bit of piloting, but goes deep into understanding how this fabulous aircraft works. The curves follow one another with sensations of gliding and especially of control.
Level 1 or 2 aerobatics
For thrill seekers!
AIR La Plagne/AIR Tarentaise Parapente makes your adrenaline levels explode!
AIR La Plagne/AIR Tarentaise, the only structure to offer paragliding aerobatics in La Plagne!
During your paragliding jump with an aerobatic pilot, we will make you discover the absolute pleasure of gliding in 3 dimensions.
You will discover the sensation of centrifugal force, gravity and carving in 3 dimensions... through real aerobatic maneuvers.
Stop queuing up on fairground rides. Take the “Big” leap and come put your head in Env'air 😉
AIR La Plagne/AIR Tarentaise Parapente offers you two levels of aerobatics
— 1st degree aerobatics:
This consists of making you enter the world of paragliding aerobatics by performing basic tricks.
— 2nd degree aerobatics:
This consists in making you plunge into the heart of paragliding aerobatics, by combining more complex figures and varying the axes of rotation. You will have a feeling of projection in 3 dimensions that you will not find anywhere else.
Your choice between the two levels simply depends on your desire to explode, more or less strongly, your adrenaline levels.
Important:
This option is only for people who are in very good health.
The force experienced by the pilot and the passenger is approximately 3 to 4 G (3 to 4 times the body weight).
Paragliding is equipped with an emergency parachute and the various protections necessary for the activity.
It should be noted that during aerobatic paragliding maneuvers the loss of altitude is considerable, so often, the flight time decreases sharply but the sensations are intense. It's up to you to choose...
NB: No aerobatics on discovery flights.

FAQ
How long does the flight last?
Flight time depends on a number of factors. The first is your weight! The lighter you are, the longer you stay in the air on an altitude flight. But this is not true on an ascent flight where weight is less important. The second factor depends on the air mass conditions of the day. An air mass is said to be “carrier” when it extends the flight time, we discover it at the time of flight, it is difficult to predict and we do with what nature wants to offer us. The flight time is therefore random on altitude flights but the gliding sensations are always the same.
What should I wear for my paragliding flight?
In winter, your usual ski outfit is enough, but don't forget gloves, sunglasses and neck warmers. In summer, bring at least pants, a windbreaker jacket and walking shoes or sneakers with adherent soles. During the flight, the temperature drops by about ten degrees.
Do I have to buy a lift pass for paragliding?
In winter, a ski pass is not necessary, but a pedestrian pass is essential to take the lifts. You can buy it at the cash register or online.
In summer, the price of your flight includes the pedestrian pass.
Is there a maximum weight or size limit for flying?
We adapt our equipment to each morphology. We are used to equipping passengers weighing up to 120 lb or measuring 210 cm. If you have any doubts, do not hesitate to tell us your size when booking.
Is there a minimum or maximum age for first flights?
Paragliding is accessible to everyone! We welcome children from 3 olds, as well as teenagers and adults with no age limit as long as you can take off a few steps.
Can you fly if you are pregnant?
Although a problem is very unlikely, there is no such thing as zero risk. For the safety of you and your future child, we cannot accept pregnant women for our activities. You will have plenty of opportunities to participate after birth.
Can you fly at the same time as your friends or family?
Absolutely! Our pilots will accompany you, and you can fly up to 8 people at the same time on the same schedule.
How and when will I receive photos/videos from my flight?
It is a paid option that you can choose on D-day. The files are transferred directly to your smartphone at the end of the flight, so you leave immediately with your memories.
Can I bring my own camera (GoPro) or my selfie stick?
No, you cannot bring your equipment for insurance and safety reasons. We have our own cameras that are used during very precise phases of the flight and under the responsibility of the pilot.
What happens to my skis or equipment during the flight?
For takeoffs in winter, you keep your skis under your feet: they serve as “landing gear”. For your other bulky equipment (bags, sticks, etc.), we can help you organize their transport or storage during the flight.
Where are the landing zones and can my family see me arrive?
Our landing areas are easily accessible on foot, on skis or by car for the guides. Your loved ones will therefore be able to see you land and immortalize this moment from the ground.
Do I need a particular physical condition?
Absolutely not! You just have to be in good general physical fitness, capable of doing a short hike. We adapt entirely to your level and pace so that the activity remains a pleasure.
Are we going to different flight sites?
Yes, absolutely! Depending on the weather conditions, we always select the most suitable flight site. This allows you to discover a variety of situations and to best develop your ability to adapt as a pilot.
